Elisenlebkuchen

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 90g sugar
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 package of Lebkuchengewürz
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250g ground almonds
  • 250g ground hazelnuts
  • 100g orangeat (candied orange)
  • 100g zitronat (candied lemon)
  • wafers
  • 250 chocolate

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, sugar and honey
  2. Put orangeat and zitronat in a mixer and create a fine-grained substance
  3. Mix all the ingredients together
  4. Form small balls from the mass and put it on the wafers
  5. Bake at 150-160°C for about 20-30 minutes
  6. Cover the Lebkuchen with chocolate after they got colder
