Kisir

Ingredients (2 persons)

  • 100g bulgur
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, remove seeds, finely diced
  • 1 tomato, finely diced
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp pepperbell paste
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • a squirt of lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp paprika

To serve

  • fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Add bulgur to a pot, add already boiled water until water rose 2cm above bulgur
  2. Heat up a pan, saute the onion with some oil
  3. Add pepperbell and tomato paste to the pan
  4. Deglaze with some water
  5. Add content of pan to the bulgur
  6. Remove the seeds from the cucumber and dice it to cubes
  7. After bulgur has cooled down, add the diced tomato, cucumber and lemon juice
  8. Add salt, pepper and paprika
  9. Serve with chopped parsley
