Naan

Ingredients

  • 1/2 block of yeast
  • 2 tb of sugar
  • 150ml milk, room temperature
  • 500g flour
  • 150g yoghurt
  • 1 ts baking powder
  • 1 egg

For garlic Naan

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk into a bowl, add 1/2 Tbsp sugar and yeast. Stir for a bit. Leave it alone for 20 minutes so that the yeast is dissvoled
  2. Once the 20 minutes are over, get another big bowl and put a pinch of salt and the rest of the sugar (1.5 Tbsp) into it with all the other ingredients. Stir everything and then knead for about 10 minutes until you have a smooth dough. Add a little bit of vegetable oil to the bottom of the bowl and roll the ball in it. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for an hour
  3. Heat up your pizza oven
  4. After the hour is over, you should now have around the double amount of dough. Knead again and split the dough into 6-8 evenly sized balls
  5. Roll out a single ball of dough, put it on the hot surface. The dough can easily burn, so watch out and turn after a short period of time

For garlic Naan

  1. Mince garlic, add to a small bowl
  2. Add some butter to it and put it in the microwave to melt
  3. Cover naan with butter garlic sauce after immediatly after they come out of the oven
